We are proud to welcome the beautiful and inspiring duo Over Yonder, comprised of local talent Martha Larson (cello) and Brian Johnson (guitar). This duo is dedicated to providing a heartfelt and meaningful musical experience, featuring a diverse style that taps into everything from folk and bluegrass to classical, jazz and Motown. Their music blends the emotional depth of classical cello with the earthy authenticity of folk and Americana, creating a sound that is distinctly their own.
The Tap room will be closed today. We hope you’ll join us as we co-sponsor the Solidarity Sing-along at Armory Square Event Center next door and raise some funds for neighbors in need.

At tonight's "Jazz Second Sundays," we are proud to welcome a fairly-new-to-Northfield jazz artist, Jorge Banuelos! Born and raised in Wichita, KS, Jorge has had the pleasure of bumping shoulders with talented musicians from near and far. In the past he has worked with the Carleton College Jazz ensembles & Big Band, the Yale School of Music Legacy Jazz ensemble, the Yale School of Music Modern Jazz ensemble, and the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.
Joining Jorge to complete this talented trio, we're thrilled to welcome back Nick Bhalla (piano) and Dan Carpel (bass). The theme for the night will be the music of Miles Davis - a night of incredible jazz you won't want to miss!
Join us for our second annual New Year's Eve Bash with the Zillionaires! This year's theme is "Nowhere to Wear it!" Grab that sweet item that you love from the back of your closet but "never have a place to wear it" and use tonight as an excuse to put it on and show it off! The Zillionaires will play from about 6-9 pm so be sure to catch at least a set or three by one of our favorite local bands!

Today, we welcome back the Imminent Standards Trio, featuring Northfield trombonist, JC Sanford, joined by special guests Mark Urness on bass and Cory Healey on drums!
A crowd of some of our favorite Northfield artists takes the stage to bring the spirit of the Holiday Season. This special evening features Rob, Sam and Grace Ryden, Matt Whited, and Sami and Brian Ponder. Don't forget about our extra special guest, Aaron Lohmeyer, on saxophone! And of course it wouldn't be Christmastravaganza without the customary Grinching, courtesy of Tim Drake! Free Winona writes heart-forward roots music, decorating their original songs with acoustic guitar, violin, and vocal harmony. Debuting at SXSW in 2018, the Minnesota-based duo has toured throughout the western U.S., performing with such Americana-stalwarts as Charlie Parr, Jon Langford, Walter Salas-Humara, Carrie Rodriguez, and Jon Dee Graham.

It's one of our FAVORITE nights of the year: Turkey Eve! We'll throw a heck of a good party, featuring live music from our friends, Fred the Bear (we love them so much, we even named a beer after them)! Rich harmonies, emotive dynamics, personally crafted lyrics and driving rhythms played by local talented musicians with hearts of gold!
Tonight, we'll have a special Wednesday-before-Turkey-Day show, which often brings cameos by special guests.
We will also host a silent auction of mug memberships for local charities!

The New Havoline Supremes are St. Paul’s newest country band, an exciting, original sound driven by the dueling lead guitars of Dan Lowinger and writer/vocalist Mary Cutrufello. Tonight, in honor of our "Acoustic Roots" series, we are getting a special Trio treat: Mary, Dan and bassist Erik Lillestol bring tried-and-true crowd-pleasers, classic country from the 60's and 70's, and honky-tonk originals...including their trademark in-song stories. They'll play it all with the swagger and virtuosity that only comes from decades of nights on the bandstand.

Big Blue Moon is a modern jazz trio from south Minneapolis that is in constant motion of creation and improvisation, without worrying too much about what jazz should be. This trio draws from several decades of jazz history to create sounds that are both traditional and modern, and the group features a flexible lineup built around St. Olaf Graduate Nick Bhalla's piano. Tonight this talented trio will feature Ben Ehrlich on drums and Dan Carpel on bass.
