Potter's Pasties

Potter's Pasties

One of the big myths about England is the one that says the food is terrible.

Yes, it’s true that you can’t really find a cold glass of water in the UK, and it helps to really love peas, but to just dismiss the culinary offerings of an entire country (or four united ones, even) is folly. And wrong. And kind of ignorant.

And it is clearly the work of someone who has never eaten a pastie.

First of all, they’re pronounced pă-stees, and secondly, they’re awesome. Potter’s Pasties, the finest maker of pasties in the Upper Midwest, will be at Imminent Brewing to show you just how good these things are.

These are traditional puff pastry wrapped pies with ingredients like minced beef, onions, potatoes and gravy, or braised pork, apples, onions and coriander. Potter’s has created some of their own unique offerings, as well with Thai ingredients, or veggie offerings.

Potter’s Pasties has long been considered among the best of the Twin Cities food trucks. We can’t wait to have them parked at Imminent Brewing!

Fred the Bear is an alt-rock band known for their rich harmonies, emotive dynamics and original songs. FTB’s music reflects on life's promises and disappointments through personal crafted lyrics and driving rhythms.  Mixed within their originals is a blend of music from other Midwest artists, currently touring groups and classic bands.

Their name and their drive for a great live sound is a tribute to Bruce "Fred the Bear" Eschler.  At his bar, the "Bear's Den", you’d always get a stiff drink and when the music was crankin', you were in for a heck of a night.  So we play tribute to the man who provided us with our first glimpse into the energy of live music .... Bach & Brews

Imminent is opening on a Monday night for this special event in collaboration with Bach Roots Festival.

Tickets: $7 kiddos - $12 adults - available HERE

J.S. Bach wrote most of his 1100+ compositions to be performed within church services, but he also wrote secular music for casual summer concerts at Zimmerman's Cafe in Leipzig. Bach & Brews shares Bach's semi-staged comedies in breweries throughout Minnesota. Come experience light-hearted music, exceptional artistry, good beer, and great company. Perhaps you'll even be invited to join us in singing Baroque drinking songs!

Fred the Bear

Fred the Bear.

Band Members include: Ray Coudret, Beth Kanzelman, Bob Kanzelman, and Jerry Spencer.

Matt Arthur & the Bratlanders

Matt Arthur & the Bratlanders

Matt Arthur is a fiercely contrarian Southern Minnesota blind man with a voice that calls to mind Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, and John Darnielle.

Matt's band, The Bratlanders, is led by identically-bearded twins, and the group’s rootsy sound is a mix of rustic folk, old-time blues, cosmic country, indie dirges, and bombastic anthems.

Their songs would shuffle sweetly through a playlist packed with early-70s Stones, Crazy Horse-era Neil Young, and more recent offerings from Sturgill Simpson and the Drive By Truckers.
