A local husband and wife team. What's unique about their meatball sliders is that Imminent Brewing gave the spent grain to the farm, which the cows ate, which was turned into beef, which Treats by T uses for meatballs which are covered  in their delicious ghost pepper sauce from peppers grown in their garden.  We are excited to see what other items they bring next time!

Also available are all natural dog treats using spent grain from Imminent Brewing for your furry family member.

Matthew Griswold

Singer/songwriter Matthew Griswold has a style that can be reminiscent of a howling Tom Waits at times and an introspective Bruce Springsteen at others. Mostly though, his style reflects a rare combination of sincerity, wisdom and passion focused through some really amazing songs. Griswold’s performances are rugged, riveting, bone-shaking, and full of grit and soul from a man who has seen the worst of humanity but still is able to find hope. He confidently leaves his crowds cradled in subtleties but rocked with an undeniable presence.

DSW is a country alt/roots rock band that covers the deeper cuts of the Americana songbook. Our goal is to introduce listeners to some of the lesser known tunes from familiar singer/songwriters by combining elements of bluegrass and old timey with traditional country and rockabilly in our own arrangements. We have been performing in the Northfield/twin cities area for ten years.

Wilkinson James

Join us for two hours of torch, swing, and honky-tonk along with great food and craft beers!

Here's how they describe themselves:

Wilkinson James is a Minneapolis based band. We'd give ourselves some sort of musical label if we could. Maybe you could call us the bastard offspring of June Carter Cash and Townes Van Zandt. But then we slide into those big band torch songs with sweet saxophone sweeping into the mix...and those straight up Dylan-esque folk tunes...and then there's maybe a touch of Etta James...
We're a little bit of all of those
It's all good
We're all good

The DARK NET - book release party

Please join us on Monday, August 7 from 7-9 pm at Imminent Brewery to celebrate Ben Percy's new book, The Dark Net

Ben promises to make it family friendly. Content Bookstore will be there selling books.
Free drink for every book purchased.

A bit about the book...
----
Hell on earth is only one click of a mouse away in acclaimed writer Benjamin Percy’s terrifying new novel. The Dark Net is real. An anonymous and often criminal arena that exists in the secret, far reaches of the Web, some use it to manage Bitcoins, pirate movies and music, or traffic in drugs and stolen goods. And now, an ancient darkness is gathering there as well. These demons are threatening to spread virally into the real world unless they can be stopped by members of a ragtag crew:

--Twelve-year-old Hannah, who has been fitted with the Mirage, a high-tech visual prosthetic to combat her blindness, wonders why she sees shadows surrounding some people.
--A technophobic journalist named Lela has stumbled upon a story nobody wants her to uncover.
--Mike Juniper--a one-time child evangelist who suffers from personal and literal demons--has an arsenal of weapons stored in the basement of the homeless shelter he runs.
--And Derek, a hacker with a cause, believes himself a soldier of the Internet, part of a cyber army akin to Anonymous.

They have no idea what the Dark Net really contains.

Fred the Bear

Fred the Bear

Fred the Bear is an alt-rock band known for their rich harmonies, emotive dynamics and original songs. FTB’s music reflects on life's promises and disappointments through personal crafted lyrics and driving rhythms.  Mixed within their originals is a blend of music from other Midwest artists, currently touring groups and classic bands.

Their name and their drive for a great live sound is a tribute to Bruce "Fred the Bear" Eschler.  At his bar, the "Bear's Den", you’d always get a stiff drink and when the music was crankin', you were in for a heck of a night.  So we play tribute to the man who provided us with our first glimpse into the energy of live music .... Fred the Bear.

Band Members:
Ray Coudret
Rick Roy
Jerry Spencer
Bob Kanzelman

Matt Arthur

Matt Arthur is a fiercely contrarian Southern Minnesota blind man with a voice that calls to mind Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, and John Darnielle. He writes and records songs you’d be pleased to hear on a playlist packed with early-70s Stones, Crazy Horse-era Neil Young, and more recent offerings from Sturgill Simpson and the Drive By Truckers. He is a true American original, and unlike any musician you’re likely to encounter.

Allyson Road Bluegrass set

Take a load off during Crazy Daze and listen to some awesome bluegrass.

Heavily influenced by the American folk rock scene of the mid-60’s, Allyson Road brings their unique blend of folk and roots music that was so reminiscent of a period when harmonies and jangly guitars ruled the airwaves. They’ve been performing at coffeehouses and bars since their early college years and haven’t strayed too far from their Americana musical roots.

In 1998, two unsuspecting musicians were abducted from an Orchard Street residence in Northfield, MN while practicing their super-sweet Rock-n-Roll moves. After many years of studying Alien musical secrets, along with countless hours of alien probings of which they have sworn to never speak of again, these musicians have been returned to earth.

Earthlings and Aliens Be forewarned: We WILL be bringing friends for back-up including special guests Barb Piper, John Miller, "Clean Head" Ed Treinen, Jerry Spencer, and Brock Dexter. You will not catch us again!
